Mid Week Tiki Party Special!
Have more than 6 Castaways in your group or co-worker team? On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we now offer a two boat 2-3 hour booking for up to 12 passengers (limit 6 passengers per boat at a time) between the hours of 12-3pm. It includes a large cooler full of ice, cups, use of both the infamous Tiki Boat and a luxury 40’ Sport Yacht with a bathroom. Your Tiki Party will begin at The Village in Stamford, CT where you will find tons of free parking and both Cisco Brewery and The Wheel restaurant dockside. Both boats will be there awaiting your arrival where you’re licensed and insured USCG Captains can assist you and your guests aboard. We will then motor into a private anchorage in the harbor and raft (tie) the two boats together so you can all party together. This is a custom event that requires a great deal of planning and coordination and must be booked over the phone ideally, 14 days in advance. Frequently asked questions
Can I book/pay by credit card the same day of the tour?
No, Team Tiki events must be booked well in advance. We recomend you call at least 2 weeks prior as we will need to arrange for both boats and Captains. If booking a table at Cisco or The Wheel, that will need coordination as well.

How far ahead should we book?
The months of June, July and August can be extremely busy. We recommend securing your tour as soon as you know which date you will be in the area.
How safe is the Tiki Taxi?
The Tiki Taxi is completely overbuilt for safety, there are seats for every passenger as well as a safety railing. The Tiki Taki operates at 4 MPH or less. As it pertains to Covid - Please follow CT Covid guidelines, if you feels sick, stay home. We sanitize all high touch surfaces between tours.
We are not all strong swimmers. Can we still participate?
Yes! All of our guests are provided USCG approved lifejackets to wear while under way, and we often have complete non-swimmers enjoy our program. If you are uncomfortable on the water, even with the lifejacket, you should avoid this activity
I’m physically challenged. Will I still be able to participate?
Yes, but know that our Tiki Taxi is a boat that is boarded from a floating dock. You must be able to navigate up to a 45º incline for the ramp to our dock and be able to step up or down to board. If you use a wheelchair or walker, we do not recommend this activity for your safety.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, hats and sunglasses are recommended. Beach attire with water shoes, sandals or flip flops are appropriate. If its cool a light jacket, wind breaker, sweat shirt or rain jacket is a good idea.
Can we bring snacks and other drinks?
Yes, we provide a large cooler with ice and cups. You may bring a prepared meal, snacks and other food if you would like to. Alcoholic and other beverages are allowed (BYOB) during the tour. Your Captain may limit the amount of alcohol brought aboard per person. NO Handles please.
What should I not bring?
We cannot accomodate pets of any kind. You are not permitted to board our Tiki Taxi with any of the following; illegal drugs, fireworks, firearms or weapons. Smoking of any substance is prohibited. Your guide will terminate a tour and alert marine police if there is suspicion of any illegal activity.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
We will go out in rain, the top will keep you dry however, your safety is our primary concern. We will not go out in storms or dangerous conditions. In the event of bad weather, we will attempt reschedule you to a different day.
How many people can go on the tour at any one time?
We can accomodate up to 6 passengers total per boat, per trip.
Is there a restroom aboard?
Not on the Tiki Boat, but if booking the Luxury Yacht, there is a head on board.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations with a 72 hour advance notice will result in no charge. Canceling your reservation after the 72 hour window is non-refundable unless Capt. John has to cancel the reservation. Unfortunately, this includes arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, arriving late, forgetting your ID, no shows, personal emergencies or personal mishaps. If Capt. John has to cancel the reservation due to inclement weather or any other reason, you may reschedule or receive a refund. Weather cancellations are determined only by Capt. John. Weather must be inclement at our location at your specific scheduled time. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding our policy.
I have a medical condition, should I be concerned?
If you have any medical conditions that you are concerned with you should consult your Physician for his or her professional advice. Captain John's Tiki Tours will not be responsible for any injury or illness caused by your participation aboard our vessels.
Can I bring my children?
We DO NOT have acommodations for infants or toddlers. For safety, we reccomend children accompanied by a parent or legal guardian be 50lbs and up. The railings are semi open and would be easy for a small child to get through.
